How long does parvo live in dogs?

My dog is on her 6 th day with parvo i almost lost her on the 4th day she just had no energy at all and was limp the vet kept her overnight and the next day he said she started wagging her tail and kissing ppl again she is still very weak and wont eat on her own but her mood has changed to the better more acknowledging the doctor said parvo lives for 5 days in dogs so now she should start to recover like the worst is over i am so happy coz she is only 2 and a half months old and most dogs her age dont survive this deadly disease she is going to be sick for the 7th day does this mean she will pull through pls share your expiriances
