Why does my dad argue with me all the time?

It started off with me finding a dating site open on my dads computer and he was trying to hook up with other chicks, I asked him about and he lied even though i showed him a picture of it, he still continued to lie, we then got into a heated discussion, he told me if i didnt like the way he lived i could get out, he then told me to go to hell, I said well F**k you, walked out, he drove off to a city 4 hours away, came back and walked into the house as if nothing had happened at all. He started talking to everyone as if nothing had happened except for me, we havn't talked since. lets skip a week later, where it was my birthday on the thursday, i got given one present which was a t shirt, i didnt complain, I thanked them, Then on friday, the town had a public holiday on thursday for the town show, I asked for the day off school, which I dont ever ask for a day off, He gave my younger sister and brother the day off and told me i had to go to school, i argued and told no, so he rang up the school to tell them i was wagging school, which you can get a $450 fine if caught. I swore at him once he got off the phone, and told him to go a round with me, but ignored me and told me I can walk to school, which is 45 minutes in the winter. We have then not talked to each other at all! Can someone give me some hints and tips on what I can do? and tell me if I am in the wrong, or he is as well? Please I need some guidance!
